Skid mounted plants are those on which more than one equipment is mounted on a skid and they work as a single unit in combination with others. Skid is being transported as a single unit and later equipment will be assembled over it, at site depending on the combinations.

Stationary primary crushers, as their name suggests, are permanently located in one site, often some distance from the quarry or mine work face, and are serviced with rock/ore by a system of attendant off -highway haulers that will increase the production cost by transportation. Replacing the conventional plant with mobile crushing equipment offers considerable benefits, including less quarry traffic, less dust and noise and exhaust emissions. All this combines to create a safer and cleaner working environment.
With their lower capital and operating costs, flexibility of siting and elimination of the need for haulers and haul roads, mobile crushing plants off er an attractive alternative to the traditional stationary crusher.
